Love salads. We try to grow greens as long as possible. Have a little bit of bib and spinach still in the garden now but it is slight. Also eat alot of microgreens. Like alot of folks the Caesar is the go to. But when the lettuce is producing we eat it anyway and with just about anything we can throw in it!

I eat salad just about everyday. My salad is: iceberg lettuce, cucumber, celery, tomato, green onion, fresh basil, fresh mint, dried oregano, fresh ground black pepper, Kosher salt, EVOO. Maybe a little Yuzu or marinated artichokes.
My wife makes a great Chinese chicken salad (minus the chicken).

Here, Caesar is the go-to with steak ... but only with dressing and croutons made from scratch, of course

Our salads usually start with whatever variety of greens we buy then just add any mix of onion, peppers, craisins or dried blueberries, apple, croutons, sweet smoked pecans, feta cheese or ?? that we might have around. Real often we use a store bought Salad Kit with Sunflower Crunch being a favorite. Interesting thread.

I'll toss in a switch up for y'all. With steak the bases have been pretty well covered, we will do Caesar, wedge, or mixed green, just depends on mood. But our other favorite for the switch is Caesar topped with a generous portion of calamari. The combination of warm and crunchy with the coolness of the salad is a textural delight. I don't do it much this time of year because I prefer deep frying outside, but for about 9 months of the year it's in the rotation regularly.
