We pick dewberries, persimmons, wild plums, and muskadines and eat them straight home the vine, so no help here.

I have never washed lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc. in 60 years. I've never gotten sick from a meal I prepared.

I wash my salad down with a nice cold IPA.

A lot of vegetables go into making that meat and cheese That sandwich is actually reconstituted salad. And the IPA has a bunch of vegetables in it too.
