    It’s Cowboy Candy Season.

I mean, it always is. But somehow, cowboy candy just goes with football, don’t it?

Here is an artsy fartsy shot of a coupla jars with this morning’s haul from the farmers market. These are decently hot jalapeños, maybe about a 3 or 4 if you’re a pepperhead, about a 6 or 7 for regular folks, and a 10 for Mrs Mosca.

And here are some made with Carolina Reapers. On a 1-10 scale these are about 1,000,000. The vapor coming off them is a 15. I’m not sure I’ll ever eat these. Nevertheless, here they are.

We just made some too a few days ago. What are you going to use it for?

The jalapeños, I put them on everything. Burgers, sandwiches, omelets, crackers, everything. The Reapers, I dunno man. Those are deadly. I only have a buck invested in them, plus the time.

Ha. Pretty much exactly my plan too. I love peppers in everything. I think I need to let them age about a week before opening them up though.

I hear the reapers are good for removing paint.

Question: Why not more peppers per jar, looks like plenty of room?

For the jalapeños it was just barely too many peppers for one jar. For the Reapers, that’s the jar I had. I have a dozen or so of each, but nothing really in between, or larger, or smaller!

Oh. I thought it was an element of the artsy-fartsiness
