Some are orange.

Some are red.

I read that the orange ones are rare, and not fully stable. This could be an example of that.
The Tabasco peppers are finally starting to ripen.

But the cayennes are stubborn, and I don’t think they will go red before the first frost. I had one ripen, but all the rest are stuck at dark green. I don’t know why.

The habaneros are beautiful, and have been steady for about a month now.

An interesting pepper fact: as we pepperheads know, most peppers store the heat in the ribs. However, the superhots (ghost, reaper, scorpion, etc) store the heat throughout the flesh. Trimming the seeds and inner ribs does no good.
