    Anyone purchased from here?

http://www.spicesinc.com They seemed very nice when I called. The genuine kind of nice, not the "sucking up because I want your business" kind of nice.

    And helpful tips like, http://www.spicesinc.com/p-510-what-...what-meat.aspx

No, but when people answer, and can help, that is a BIG plus!!

Beth answered the phone. She said she is one of 3 people that do that. She also was familiar with the AR website. I figured that if folks here can spend less for a quality rub or sauce ingredient, they will have more left to spend on meat.

I've only ordered from Penzys. I'll have to check them out. Thanks.

They were on my short list after some research but I ended up going to http://www.myspicesage.com/ based on some feedback from Pit members. High quality and very prompt delivery.

Spicesinc is 12 bucks cheaper per lb of ancho chile powder.

Wow, that's big Munch. Go with SpicesInc. I don't think you'd go wrong.

I just picked a spice for comparison. I've purchased from spicejungle.com in the past since they are in Michigan.

Munch, I just placed a small order from SpicesInc and they accept PayPal which I like to use with a new company that I can't find much information about (other than their website) as I don't like to input credit card info online until I'm confident they are a legit/trustworthy company and their credit card system is secure. I never give credit card info over the phone...that's just me being extra safe. And their prices are very good...up to 40-50% lower than Penzeys for the items I checked. I imagine that Penzeys prices are higher partly because they produce catalogues (I get one with every order) and they have brick & mortar stores.

Edit to add a big thank-you for mentioning this place.

My first order arrived quickly too. See you got the 1st order free pepper! I think they are going to replace Penzeys for me just fine.

Took 3 days for mine. I like how they smartly double seal the bags. I didn't buy anything in jars. Pardon what may be considered "blasphemy" (because I like MMD) but I'm going to try their Pork Stank Rub on a rack tomorrow. MMD the rest. 😁
