http://www.spicesinc.com They seemed very nice when I called. The genuine kind of nice, not the "sucking up because I want your business" kind of nice.
Beth answered the phone. She said she is one of 3 people that do that. She also was familiar with the AR website. I figured that if folks here can spend less for a quality rub or sauce ingredient, they will have more left to spend on meat.

Munch, I just placed a small order from SpicesInc and they accept PayPal which I like to use with a new company that I can't find much information about (other than their website) as I don't like to input credit card info online until I'm confident they are a legit/trustworthy company and their credit card system is secure. I never give credit card info over the phone...that's just me being extra safe. And their prices are very good...up to 40-50% lower than Penzeys for the items I checked. I imagine that Penzeys prices are higher partly because they produce catalogues (I get one with every order) and they have brick & mortar stores.
Edit to add a big thank-you for mentioning this place.

Here is my spicesinc order that just came in... also got a BUNCH of dried chilies so I can make a proper chili and some enchilada sauce -- everything came in less than a week... these guys are doing a great job I think
Took 3 days for mine. I like how they smartly double seal the bags. I didn't buy anything in jars. Pardon what may be considered "blasphemy" (because I like MMD) but I'm going to try their Pork Stank Rub on a rack tomorrow. MMD the rest. ðŸ˜Â
