Can you all tell me.... Can you really tell a difference between the spices listed here and say spices bought at Walmart?
I've never really thought about it much.
The only thing I've experienced is when I grind my own pepper versus using preground pepper.

Joetee I would posit that you would see the same "difference" in other spices as those you experience when you grind your own pepper. There is a difference, IMHO, at least with the more "standard" spices that I use.

I think so? Also very important how fresh they are. Don't expect something that has been on the shelf for a while to be as potent.
