    Little load of bacon

    We cut up 10 pigs the last day and a half.. since I can't get all the hams and bacons in the smoker at once I tumbled the bacon for 3 hours then into the smoker. That is 168 lbs of bacon!! Click image for larger version

        Heck yes.. deer season open next Saturday so I see some long days in my future. I am sure I will be around!!

      Might have to make a road trip from the twin cities. Next week might be a good time to get away for a couple months.

        You might want to do texas in winter and mn in summer. It was 12 degrees two mornings ago!! And it's not even November yet

                Backroadmeats, would you share your "recipe"? Brine, time, temp and smoke? Any tips? Amazing timing since I was about to smoke three bellies for myself. Great looking rig, Awesome looking bacon. Keep up the good work.
