    Pork Injections

    I just bought an injector, never injected meat before. Does anyone have any tips or good recipes? Thanks

    Go look up Chris Lilly’s that he uses for his pulled pork.

      Whenever I did inject I preferred to inject while it was still in the bag, less mess.

        Very nice tip, Brother!
        Although I have yet to inject, I appreciate any method that would help to contain the mess, if/when I feel compelled to do so!

        I agree, and I mark the bag with a magic marker to give me targets so I can get even coverage and know where I have already injected once I look away to reload.

      I have used the Butcher's BBQ open pit injection which is pretty good. Also have used just apple juice or a mixture of apple juice and white wine vinegar with some Memphis dust and a little honey mixed in on occasion.

        My pork injection consists of pork stock, salt sugar, apple cider venigar, MSG, Phosphates, and Worcestershire sauce.
