    Pork belly

    I picked up a fresh 3 pound pork belly on my way home yesterday. I decided to try the new recipe that Harry Soo had on his site, soy vinegar bbq pork belly with 7-up dipping sauce. I made the marinade last night and put the belly in a freezer bag with it overnight. Since this was a small, quick, high temp job, I used the Smokenator in my weber one touch. It took just about an hour to finish. It was sweet, flavorful, and tender. This was the first time that I did anything with pork belly other than bacon. I've been missing out!
