    Ham Glaze

i saw a post a few weeks ago of a ham glaze that had been used on a spiral cut ham. Of course I forgot to mark it or copy it. I remember the recipe included pineapple preserves and molasses, but I forget who posted and now I can't seem to find it using the search engine. Does anyone else recall this?

If you enter "ham + glaze" into the search box, you'll get hits on every post with the words "ham" and "glaze". Don't enter the quotes and DO leave a space between each word and the "+" sign.

Thanks. I tried that and the plus sign helps but still did not find the one I was thinking of. My memory must be failing. It did pull up some other good options though.

Try Chris Lilly's Spiced Apricot Glaze found on this site here http://amazingribs.com/recipes/BBQ_s...cot_glaze.html

I will be making this tomorrow.

    Happy Easter!

I've done this for ham glaze for years. Apricot preserves, gulden mustard, crushed red pepper, apple cider vinegar.

Would you please kindly provide proportions, or a receipt?

@Mr Bones I don't really have proportions but rather pour some of each together. Always can add more sweet, or tangy (acv) or heat.... it doesn't really take much to cover a ham. I usually use one small jar of apricot preserves.

jgreen If all else fails, in a pinch, ya' can use honey+spices, or maple syrup+spices...molasses works, too...
Or jam, jelly, etc. Esp. mixed with any of th' above.
