Our freezer is full, but I still had to cruise the meat aisle at Costco, and came across these hatch chile pork shoulders. Considering that this is the only time I’ve seen full pork shoulders flavored with ANYTHING, I’m going to officially declare that hatch chile mania is out of control, and I suspect that at this very moment there are multiple companies developing hatch chile lattes.
ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!
On a more serious note, the label declares them "Great For Tacos", and that does sound good as long as they don’t get too carried away with the heat level. barelfly?
Pumpkin Spice Pulled Pork is a festive way to enjoy pulled pork. When everyone around you is into pumpkin spice EVERYTHING, wow them with this unique BBQ.
Nooooo, for realz, they had those either last year or the year before. I got one and cooked it up - it was actually really good! I've been keeping an eye out for them again, but haven't seen them. Haven't been to Costco in a while, though.
I just noticed these at our local Costco a week ago. Bought one and made some pulled pork. While the pulled pork turned out very well, I honestly did not taste much hatch chile flavor after it was cooked. My poker group loved it!

I haven’t had this pork before, but if memory is correct, someone on here just cooked one of these? Or did I see it on YouTube? Hmmmm. I’ll see if I can find it somewhere and come back if I do.
but…I’m sure it’s not hot, I would guess it’s more the flavor of the green chile somehow. Did you end up buying a pack?
I didn’t notice until just now that it says "Mild" in the top left corner of the close up pic, so I’m sure you and realdocBBQ are correct about the heat level. I still think it might be one of the signs of The Apocalypse… 😉
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Sid P a friend of mine came to borrow something on Saturday evening, and brought me a couple of street tacos he had made that evening using one of those Costco hatch Chile butts. I liked it a lot, and it had a great flavor, but not sure how much hatch character I got from it. He is not a smoker guy, and had done SV and the oven to finish.
