    Tips, Pros and Cons please (Bacon Ribs)

    What are the pros and cons of making your own Bacon Ribs? any and all tips appreciated.
    You know I just got the try this.

    I have no experience with this, but if I really enjoyed the finished cook that would be my pro. On the other hand my cons would be how much a hassle it would be and maybe cost.

    Concerning Bacon Ribs (and/or) Pastrami Ribs, the Cons would be...
    that they turn out so good that I would stuff myself until I passed out.
    The Pros would be... the same.

      Trying to find these bones will be a challenge unless you buy them from Porter Road......$$$. However, I bet they are really, really good.


      I would be more inclined to do a pastrami cure over a bacon cure.........Pastrami ribs are one of the best thing you can pull off a smoker and I have never done them with pork.
