    Rack of Pork

    I have a cpl frzn racks of pork. I think sous vide is the proper way to defrost these.

    Any suggestions as to what temp n how long?

        We have been searching for these pork crown roasts since last Christmas. Found some when we were in Conway NC last week, but we wanted an eight-bone roast but this butcher wouldn't cut that small.

          Costco every year around Christmas n Easter. We call them the CnE'r porkers. LOL
          Just there yesterday n saw cpl dzn. They do not last! All eight bones.

        U just fill up my sink or bathtub with cold water and change it every half hour /shrug

          My Sous Vide will eliminate the xtra fills n change outs. 4 - 6 hour chill n I will be ready for smoke n sear.

          I set all my food out on aluminum trays/jelly roll pans. Works great.

            I did a SV with frozen short ribs. I believe I just added an hour to the cook time. Came out fine.
