Agreed, bunky2021 . That Bacon Explosion recipe looks so delicious. Plus it can be cooked in a smoker, on a grill, or in the oven. Thanks, bbqLuv , for the inspiration.
Perhaps SheilaAnn will take it under consideration for a future Team Cook. I think the recipe could be made smaller pretty easily for households with fewer bacon lovers in them. Or made completely, then placed in the freezer for a few hours, then sliced in half, with half of it frozen raw for a future cook.
I'm also thinking that cooking from a frozen state might crisp up the bacon on the crust a bit more. Flabby bacon is so not my jam. OTOH, our grandgirls love "soft" bacon. They obviously didn't come from my end of the gene pool.
