There could be a genuine donnybrook brewing here. I’m pretty sure SheilaAnn is not a terrorist but what if they’ve captured her and are forcing her to talk about boiling ribs? We should send her help as soon as possible. What if it’s a medical emergency and she’s delirious? What’s if vegans have taken over her account and are trying to discredit her in front of her friends? SheilaAnn would never boil ribs would she? I’m pretty sure this is a cry for help!

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

Current line-up of cookers: Oklahoma Joe's Bronco Pro, Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050, Blackstone ProSeries 4 Burner 36" griddle, Weber Performer Deluxe and Weber Smokey Joe.
This bunch has never brawled like we did a few years ago over pre-burned wood splits. One or two got themselves banned over that one. We'll get through this and still be friends.

Thank goodness there is a statute of limitations in our justice system or otherwise I wouldn’t admit that I was part of a conspiracy to boil not only ribs but half chickens as well. In my youth JHU held an annual spring festival on the Homewood campus and my little group decided to rent a space to sell food. We really couldn’t cook but as chemistry majors we did know how to boil water. We parboiled everything, then slathered them in sauce and finished them over a charcoal grill. Everyone loved our “BBQ” and we sold hundreds and hundreds of plates.Last edited by Donw; September 27, 2024, 05:28 PM.
