    Pork Floss anyone???

A new place opened near me today. Brecotea specializes in teas and baking. I went in just to look around and saw this:

It looked like a little supre finely shredded pork on bread. It doesn't look like there is a lot of meat though. They also had hot dogs baked in dough that formed into a bun.

Hot Dog in an enclosed bun is a Kaloche.

We will stop in West, TX at the Czech Stop for Kolaches on our way to the San Marcos Meat Up in October.

The owner of the 4 locations of the Kolache Bar in Houston sold out, pulled up stakes and has taken up residence 20 miles south of Kennedy Space Center. He is practically across the street from me.

Sirloin tip marinaded inToshi'sTeriyaki 4 hours with chopped garlic. Green and red pepper, red onions. The only issue was the veggies could have been cooked more. Next time, and there will be a next time pre cook them. Sure do look pretty.

Next time throw a foil cover over the initial cook. The veggies will steam themselves.

we've started doing the meat and veg on separate skewers so I can cook to desired doneness.

I do what HawkerXP does on the rare occasions that I use skewers. I normally use a perforated ss basket and stir fry over the charcoal. That way I don't have to spend time skewering everything.
