Yeah, we probably take it for granted that we have learned a lot in this place. Although, I can say that I have never boiled ribs.

Don't boil ribs, that's because it is best to bring them to a boil slowly.
Cover them with beer, that is what a Coor's light drinker told me. I have not tried it my self

The 30-pack is years old and has not been drunk yet.

Yes, but we Californians boil or braise using artesian spring waters…it says so right on the bottle!

😂 I’ve mentioned to them a few times about Amazing Ribs, even invited them to try the free trial. Nothing ever came of it though. But….if they ever did join I’d make sure one of the mods scrubs this post for me! 😂

One of my favorite ways to cook baby backs ribs is over an open fire Santa Maria-style. There is no boiling or braising involved.

Boil the ribs in beef broth, No Beans or they're not Texas-style

"But Dad, what if they want their ribs boiled?" "We ask them firmly but kindly to leave". Hank Hill has all the answers.

When I was young and in my prime
I boiled ribs all the time
Now I am older and have more sense
I smoke them in the Traeger by the fence

A childhood friend who I'm still connected to on Facebook messaged me yesterday and had 4 racks of ribs and had never cooked ribs in her life. I was able to prevent a boiling incident, and felt I'd done my part in the war on terror.

Reminds me of my mom boiling the ribs and then my dad would sear them. My dad would start the charcoal with charcoal fluid or white gas then smother them in Bbq sauce. Sear till they got blackened. What a flavor combo. By The way both California natives.

In our family ribs meant country style, grilled then braised. My dad never touched food, the best he could do was make toast!
