If I have BB ribs with the heavy loin piece I tend to wrap after a couple of hours to hold the moisture in. Never tried trimming the loin off may have to give that a go next time. All I ever see around here is the BB with the heavy loin.

Just saw these at the grocery store..
2.6 lbs, but labelled as extra meaty...
now I'm really confused 😂
Didnt purchase as $5.19 lb seemed a bit pricey..

Good choice. They want to sell you loin meat at $5.19 as opposed to $2.19 or less.

I routinely purchase BBs, because they're generally cheaper here (in NC) than SLs. Thanks to this site and these fine folks, I now understand what to look for when buying ribs. So I try to eyeball 'em real well and avoid the racks with too much loin meat attached.

Anyway, my crew here doesn't really care if I cook BB's or SL's.
They're just glad to have ribs for supper.

Found these today at Shoprite...
$2.99/lb for what the package says is prime pork 🤷♂️
based on info from this thread I looked to see if any were under 3 lbs.
I grabbed 4 that were all right around 2.5 lbs.
Will find out next weekend if they are any good.
