Thinking about doing something with leftover pork osso bucco

We went out to dinner last night, and I got something I don’t make at home, pork osso bucco. It was excellent, but I could only eat half.



Im thinking, take the leftovers, which is meat and sauce, make a little mirepoix, mix it up and serve it over rice. Maybe put some mushrooms in there. Probably pretty good, huh?

That sounds delicious. I’ve found that just a dash of red pepper in dishes like that can really make the flavors come out.

That’s a new one on me. Was the shank bone still in it?

Yep. It came in a nice mushroom and onion gravy, with mashed potatoes.
