Technique for when you cannot get to the pit
Liquid smoke as a binder, nice drawback in the bones, great bend, tender, and glazed with homemade BBQ sauce
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I've been doing ribs in the oven for years before becoming a "smoker".
Never used liquid smoke on them though, always just with a rub.
Set em in a foil covered pan in the oven @ 225° for 2 hours, 275° for 2 hours, and 325° for 2 hours.
that's probably where my family learned to like fall off the bone ribs...lol.
They always came out good, and all the "pan juices" were great for soaking up with cornbread. 😋
Liquid smoke seems like it would be pretty heavy as a binder, but I might just give it a shot.
Never know until you try...
