I’ve found a farm near me that has reasonably priced Berkshire. What is the consensus about freezing pork for later use?

Frozen Berkshire?

Perfectly fine. Like any meat, don't thaw and refreeze but freezing itself is fine. If you're buying quantities and freezing for more than a few months (i.e. a year or more), I'd do two things - first, get and use a vacuum sealer to avoid freezer burn. Second, freeze in a dedicated freezer that keeps things well under 0F for longevity. Oh... and label each thing with what it is and when it was frozen.
Actually, I would recommend a vacsealer in any event, even if you're freezing just for a few weeks. Avoiding freezer burn is worth it.

No problem. I buy frozen Berkshire pork chops from Wild Fork monthly. We had some just last night in fact. Delish every time.
