I've never heard of pork tri-tip. Though I can understand that it would be a cut, but I would assume very small. Can you share a pic??

Neither the Meat Buyers Guide (NAMP- National Association of Meat Purveyors) and the IMPS (Institutional Meat Purchase Specifications) list a cut called "Pork Tri-tip.
Just another retailer charging more for a piece of meat by giving it a trendy name. Do you have a picture of the label from the package?

Most of us outside of CA hadn't heard of beef tri-tip 20 years ago. This is the first time I've heard of pork. If you compare a pork tenderloin with a beef tenderloin, you get an idea of how much smaller the pork tri-tip would be.
