    Stupid EZ pork butt

This is stupid EZ smoked pork butt. 20 hrs overnight.
Noticed pork butt on sale at Safeway for $1.99/lb.
Got the idea from HeyGrilHey How to Smoke a Pork Butt (AKA Pork Shoulder) - YouTube
That evening a friend invited us over for a happy hour at 4:00 pm the next day.
So I figured 5-5 is 24 hours, so 5-1 would be 20 hours with rest time, etc.

    Sometimes things just work out.

I don't understand this statement. What is 5-5 and 5-1? Maybe it's just too early. I finished my first cup of coffee this morning, but I can't put it together. I'm sure it's something easy, I'm just not getting it, sorry.

5+ years here and I still have to stop and think about a lot of the acronyms and jargon some people use here.

                I think he's saying 5:00 to 5:00 is 24hrs so 5:00 to 1:00 is 20 hrs.
