    Wedding Pork Butt

    Making 5x pork butts this Friday for my niece's wedding. I've smoked a number of pork butts in the past. They all came out very good and that is why I was roped into doing some for the wedding. Just looking for anyone's ideas to give these ones a little something extra/special because it's a wedding. I thought about doing the Kosmos Q injection, but since I haven't done it before I don't' want to take a big risk. Just looking for something simple/predictable that will set them apart.

    I would definitely not try something new if it’s for a wedding.

    If you wanted to experiment maybe experiment with different sauces after the pork is cooked.

    Maybe make a Bourbon BBQ sauce. A sweet and spicy BBQ sauce. A honey mustard style BBQ sauce and a vinegar style BBQ sauce.

    Get some good quality squeeze bottles and disposable sauce cups and let the guests sample the sauces.

      Yeah, I agree. Experiment with a variety of sauces, sides etc. But you were asked to do the pulled pork because they like what you normally do.
