    Omelet Pizza

    Made an omelet pizza tonight. Sour Dough crust, alfredo sauce, peppers, onions, sausage, smoked boiled eggs, and cheese. It turned out ok. My wife liked it so that's good for me! Click image for larger version

    Skip - That is like Mr. Bones 's pulled pork and peanut butter sandwich. Sounds awful - looks intriguing - and for some reason, I am going to have to try it out some day because I believe it tasted good or you wouldn't have posted it. Mr. Bones ' logic was spot on in describing why his tasted good. I love a good egg sandwich and there are all of the ingredients in that pizza plus some!

    Skip ... that sounds like an interesting pizza. I like the Alfredo sauce idea. I bet it tasted great. If the wife liked it you're good!

    However as your friend and bread baking buddy I see you might need some coaching up on how to stretch and shape your pizza dough. This video will move you forward to getting a pretty round pie every time.👍

      Thanks. First time with any Sour Dough so still learning. Sometimes I just get excited and get in too big of a hurry.

      Skip... learning to stretch and shape pizza dough is everyone's last part of the learning curve. That's completely normal. Experienced pizza makers can spot a newbie a mile away by the shape of their pies.😎

      I use whatever we have on hand and need to use up. Often times it's a little sour cream and BBQ sauce or Sour Cream and Honey Mustard, or Pesto, or ????

    I fell in love with an egg on a pizza when I first went to France so many years ago. Thought it was crazy, then tried it!
