FWIW, the toppings and flavor for the Digiorno aren’t awful as you note. However, it is the crust and dough that is just junk and far too chewy. It refuses to crisp up. I stopped eating them maybe 20 years ago.

We have not found any pre-made frozen pizza that appeals including most of the ones posted here, except for some of the regional, special ones that just aren't available. The solution, for us, is freezing some of the dough balls when I make a batch of dough. Usually get 4 270g-280g balls and then freeze 2 for later. It's easy, just defrost in the frig overnight, then let sit on the counter for 2-4 hours covered.

Back in the day I used to love DiGiorno's. 99% of the time it would just be a pepperoni and I would either eat the whole thing or eat half and have the other half the next day. But the last couple I have had just haven't been quite as good as they used to be so I haven't had one in probably 2-3 years.
We do get the Motor City Pizzas from Costco and my kids love those. I think they are good but wouldn't say I "love" them. Definitely better than most other frozen pizzas.

We only eat a frozen pizza once a year or even less. As a few others have mentioned Kwik Trip (a WI/MN gas/convenience store) is not too bad for the effort we put into it.

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." ~Benjamin Franklin
The only frozen pizzas that I've had in several years were the Motor City pizzas I bought at Costco when I went with PJ last year. They were really good.
One of my techs was eating an HEB small (personal sized) frozen pepperoni pizza at the office the other day. She said it was good. I noted that it looked just like the little school lunch pizzas we got back in the 80s - diced pepperoni (little 1/4" squares) and all.

Ok, but Not a big fan. They are just quick(22min) and easy to doctor. Small can sliced mushrooms, xtra pepperoni, sliced green, yellow, orange, red bell peppers. Onion, bacon, xtra motz, you name it.
Self rising crust, easy to stack.
Kroger sends us coupons and used to get three for $10. Unsure what they run anymore.

Screamin' Sicilian Pizza, Supremus Maximus is my go to lately. It has a nice crust, ample cheese, delicious sauce, and a reasonable amount of meat and veggies. $5.98 at Winco for a size that feeds me dinner and cold breakfast the next day. My wife can't eat cheese, so these are handy for me to have around.
BTW, I've decided to sell my Ooni Koda 16 oven. Not that I don't like it, but it just takes too much time and effort to make a really good pizza with it; with my other hobbies I just can't seem to fit it in often enough. I'm going with a Weber gasser instead - and Screamin' Sicilian Pizza.
