    Corned Beef Pizza

    Got a gang of friends and family heading up this weekend to ski. Firing up the Yoder pizza oven tomorrow evening to feed them. Maybe make some pies with the leftover corned beef??? Any ideas as to what else to put on the corned beef pies. No not cabbage.

    Not cabbage! Sauerkraut! I've seen reuben pizzas on menus (see Page 3 http://www.thepizzahaven.com/menus/files/menu2022.pdf ). And I've made sauerkraut pizzas before. Drain the saurkraut well, and put it on sparingly. Mix swiss cheese one to two with mozzarella--straight swiss is too strong. Skip the 1000 Island (in my opinion). Onions and garlic are a nice addition.

    Rye crust, Sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, 1,00o Island or Russian dressing
    Reuben Pizza what's not to love? "What Me Worry?"
    And of course, add a print of bitters or PBR

    Okay, I made one. Tangy NC mustard sauce, swiss and mozzarella, pastrami from last week's smoke, polish sauerkraut, parmesan cheese.

      It's pretty good! I told my wife if I owned a pizza place I would not do this as a special for St. Paddy's because it's good but not great. She disagreed and thought it would be an excellent special ☘️
