Yes I’ve had it and enjoy it. Never on a steak but as a burger topping and something to dip French fries in, its pretty good.

I wonder if you've ever compared it to a Costa Rican sauce called Salsa Lizano or Lizano Salsa Inglesa. According to Wikipedia they are similar. Salsa Lizano is like A1 only better.

I have had it before - long time ago, and I don't remember where. It was pretty good, if I remember correctly.

Is it possible to get this stuff in the US. Is it like A1? Any heat to it?

Its probably going to be a regional availability or something you just spot on the shelve on day. Then there's Amazon like listed below.
I used to always take a coupla jugs to my sister in Dallas when visiting, if I didn't bring HP....got left at the airport....its available there now.

Since we're in a tourist destination a lot of grocery stores here carry imported food, Publix stocks it right next to the blue cans of Heinz baked beans.

You can usually get it in places that have an international or imported foods section as N227GB mentioned

We have been using it for years, especially good with "bangers and mash". No problem buying at our local market.

              Apparently it is:

Shipping is a bit steep, but I would try it. It’s fabulous on eggs!

Lived in England for 4 years, not a fan but they love it. If you have a Harris Teeter or Publix on the East Coast (Not sure where elsewhere) they carry a decent selection of UK goods. Surprisingly, the Heinz beans they carry are NOT UK style. Our local pub was always asking me for A1 Sauce but obviously I couldn't give them any since they were a business, quite a few of our British friends often got Mountain Dew, A1, and boxed cake mix as gifts... it's funny the things different cultures appreciate about each others foods lol

Real common in Canada. I agree with the comments that i probably would not use on a steak, but it is great on other things.

Love it on meat pies and anything else I can put it on while it lasts. There is a Scottish bakery just north of Detroit and when we go to the St. Andrews highland games in Livonia Mi. we'll stop there and get some. Wish I had it more often! Glad you mentioned it grantgallagher!

Well, learned something new today! I see that my local Publix has this in stock, and will have to put it on the shopping list.
