What’s Your Favorite Frozen Food, Meals Or Sides?

I know a lot of times we just don’t feel like messing with the grill and want something quick and easy, but also tasty. Sometimes I grill 2 or 3 times a week and just need a break from cooking. I’m curious to see what I might be missing out on, for frozen, throw it in the microwave or skillet meals....or just a side dish. Something I recently found and really like is from Patti Labelle and is sold at Walmart. It’s her frozen Okra Stew. It is really good and couldn’t believe it was frozen after eating it. Her Macaroni and Cheese is also surprisingly good! For tamales I like the ones from Texas Tamale Company. You can steam or microwave them. What are some of y’all’s favorite frozen foods?

I really dig marinating my ice in alcohol as a menu option.

Panhead John , Seems to be a favorite marinade by many.

On those nights that I'm feeling really lazy. Tyson frozen chicken nuggets microwaved. On the plate with either Chinese hot mustard or red or yellow Paqu Jaya chili sauce for dipping

Mojo0209 The Mac and cheese from Costco, is it their store brand, or Beecher’s, as someone below mentions?

The store brand. Not frozen, but easy. Costco is right around the corner from us.

Blue Bell Tin Roof! Can’t get it here in Long Beach, but I found a copycat recipe that works.

Frozen TV dinners, chicken pot pies. But it has been 40 years of more.

We really like these lately, tastes like restaurant quality deep dish almost. Don’t know how widely available they are, but our local grocery carriers them. Click image for larger version

Bob Evans mac and cheese for the wave. As a side or even a main course. I love M&C.

I like to gussy the Bob Evans mac and cheese up with diced ham or a little bacon. Yum.

That’s 3 recommendations now for the Bob Evans mac and cheese or mashed potatoes. I like your ham idea. I’ve got a bunch leftover from TDay. Gonna try that.

I'll usually buy stuff from the Costco service deli, cuz I'm already there working. I'll dress up the sausage and noodle dish with some Momma Lils' Peppers, or get stuffed bell peppers.

oh and Motor City Pizza is AMAZING frozen pizza. I'll buy that when my wife is not with me

Ice cream. And I don't care if you serve it as a main dish, side, or desert.

Costco here sells frozen Beechers Mac and Cheese. Best mac and cheese I have ever had. I could probably eat a whole pan if given the opportunity

Gotta try that Beechers. I’ve already written it down. Wanna compare it to Patti Labelles. Thanks!

Trader Joe’s Pot Stickers and Edamame. Add sweet chili and hot mustard for dipping.

Tamales and taquitos are a frozen staple in the house. Quick and easy, and good with some green chile sauce on top.

you could even fancy up the taquitos and make "enchiladas"

When in doubt, tamales are always kept in the freezer.

Occasionally frozen tots or a frozen pizza, but nothing out of this world that I'd recommend. Honestly I really quit doing frozen meals years ago. If neither of us is in the mood to cook, we order something.

I buy the Costco pre-cooked dinners, put my leftovers spin on many of them and freeze them. I like Richard’s answer much better, though.

I'd approach that Richard" dude with full on energy. I recommend you go find a seat at his table to make sure you can show him how to cook your favorite cook.
