Outdoor Kitchen has been dismantled for the winter
Calling for 3 inches of snow and then to stay in the colder weather area. So, although it will not stop my outdoor cooking, the Grill/grill-table, and smoker have been moved into the garage for the winter and the area is almost ready for winter, un-plugged the outdoor refrigerator, I will cover it with cardboard, Styrofoam and a tarp hopefully tomorrow. It is a bummer to put it all in the garage. I still hope to cook on the grills/smoker at least 2 times a week. I do have a fridge in the garage also, and maybe with a space heater I can warm up an area nice enough to watch some football etc out there. while the grill is in the driveway.
My stuff stays where it is for the season with the addition of a snow shovel.
What snow we do get over the next few weeks won't stay for long right now.
All I need is a trench to the Keg and a hoodie and I'm in business.
I looked at propane heaters last year for my garage they throw a lot of heat for the buck but never did pull the trigger on one.
Yep winter doesn't stop us diehards. In 93 the only way we ate was on the gasser and Weber. 3' of snow all around us. We were with out power for 10 days. Now I have a Gererac generator and we have not have had more than 12" of snow. LOL
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Calling for the same here too. I haven't even had the chance to mow or rake, it's been raining every day I've been home from work the last month. Yard's in rough shape. Not ready for snow Grills stay on the deck year round though, and the kamado and stickburner get a path shoveled to them.
I managed to get some yardwork done last weekend so not in too bad a shape.
Few odds n ends will finish it, any snow we get won't last right now.
I'm off week after next, will finish things then....unless things take a dramatic turn for the worst.
I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
Weber Summit Kamado with SnS and Vortex.. Broil King Baron, Primo Oval Junior. Primo XL. Love grilling steaks, ribs, and chicken. Need to master smoked salmon. Absolutely love anything to do with baking bread. Favorite cool weather beer: Sam Adams Octoberfest Favorite warm weather beer: Yuengling Traditional Lager. All-time favorite drink: Single Malt Scotch
If we get more than an inch of snow here, I am almost happy cause the city shuts down and I can cook. Actually, if we have snow in the forecast the city shuts down.
Haha same here in N. Alabama. It's crazy how they cancel school a day in advanced based on a forecast that usually never happens. When my kids were little, we had to turn on the local news at 6:30am to find out if school was canceled or not due to inclement weather. Now they cancel it based on rumors and hearsay from unreliable weather forecasts.
jfmorris, exactly. Then day care became an issue cause both of us worked. Now that they are grown and I work for a more understanding employer, I kind of like the snow days.
One of the good things is the weather in in this part of California. It get a little cold , 30's in the mornings sometimes. and it will get in the high 90's to low 100's for a few days in a row during the summer. But the humidity is low. So year round grilling/smoking, just throw a cover over them in between. I am fortunate.
I lived in the north for a long time, and the snow never stopped me from grilling stuff. I didn't do low and slow back then, but steaks, chops, chicken? Year round.
I could careless what temp, or how much snow, but my wheelchair has limits to how much I want to try and drive through and hopefully not get stuck, and then track it back into the house, and I am not going to have my wife shovel 100 plus yards of handicap pathway to get to my grills in the normal location, hence they are moved into the garage where I can just quick wheel them into the driveway.
Yeah do what's best for you.
My buddy is in a wheelchair from MS, he heated everything.
Driveways, walkways, garage. Snowflakes don't stand a chance at his place....
