    Anybody cook chaffles?

    I am sure some of you are Keto and/or other low carb people... the rage is chaffles (imagine a waffle made of an egg and half a cup grated cheese --and 8 million variants).. I have been used "everything bagel" chaffles (egg+1 cup rated mozzarella+1 T almond flour +1t baking powder +2 t everything bagel spice) for my taco shells and bbq'd meat conveyance device.

    I miss real bread, but this stuff is virtually zero carbs so there.

    I never heard of one until just now....

    I believe that carbs are getting an unjustified bad rap....

      Haven't, previous, but will look into it, now, havin been informed.

      In recent years, onliest carbs I've concerned myself over much with, are th Q-Jets in Spectre, an Th Blue Belle, an th Holley in Leviathan...

        way better that those variable venturi carbs Ford had. You jb weld up those leaky bowls yet, or did you get lucky and the still holding fuel?

      I do fake keto as i like to call it. Never heard of chaffles, but outside of the mozzarella bagel recipe i can say ive never found one bread sub that i actually enjoy or find worth making. Maybe ill check these out.

      I eat them regularly. Since this fake bread is pretty simple and doesn't really taste all that eggy or burnt cheesy I am pleased.

      Carbs might be getting a bad rap but I am down 55 pounds since I stopped eating them, all my blood numbers are great and I have cut out or reduced all my meds. SO, guilty or not I am exiling them.

      More room for meat.

        There are ways to include GOOD carbs in your diet and still lose weight. I agree that too many, or the wrong kind are not good for you. Congrats on the health numbers!

        My wife once said "We need to stop eating 'empty carbs'". I said "That's why I stuff so much meat between my bread" I thought I was really funny. She smirked.

        I can't wait to try these! I've been using fresh mushrooms as a carb substitute. I'm a ways behind you, but I'm happy with the 45 lbs I've lost.

      Made my first chaffle today, I was impressed, 2 eggs, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 1 Tbsp almond flour, half tsp baking powder, a little sweetener, waffle iron 3 or 4 minutes.

        I used to have wild chaffles in the back yard. They left when I got rid of the dandelions.

            I just got finished reading the post on bugs, the real kind. Then reading this post & get to 8 million variants & guess what picture is in my mind. I think I might pass. 🕶
