I was so pleased with the chili I made yesterday, that I would like to write down into a shareable way. Probably the first time I have felt that way about a cook. What do like to see , format, photos, or ... that makes a recipe easy to duplicate?

My suggestion Richard is to read some of the recipes either by Meathead or our cooks on the free side of the site. A good formal recipe starts with the formatting they employ; i.e type of cuisine, number of servings, time to prep and cook, ingredients, method.
Having said that, I personally also like to tell a story within the methodology. In other words have a step by step instruction in a conversational tone which includes pictures of the basic steps involved. Wind it up with a formal shot of a typical serving.
Convey the method that best works for you. Read some of our members recipes as well. Let me know if I can be of help to you
