    June Que this Weekend!

    Hey fam! Nothing special to report here, but my annual BBQ is this Saturday and I'm hype and just wanna run my mouth about it. Funny there doesn't seem to be a section for that...

    Its gonna be about 30 people and im cookin 4 butts, 6 racks, and prepping 30 burgers... plus sides for show.

    Gonna use Hickory/Cherry on the butts and racks. The burgers are gonna be a mix.. Most will be chuck + short rib, the others chuck + pork belly (I have a few people who don't eat pork or they'd all be a three-way mix)

    Sounds like a blast! Our Que weekend is the third weekend in August.

        Labor Day is a good one. Mine might have been too but if I'm in this overcrowded city for Labor Day, Memorial Day, or the 4th it feels like a disturbance in the force. I need to be at the lake or something. Suburbs would be cool but even our suburbs are crowded! smh

            Totally agree. It's like when you're cooking you're the QB, but when you're cooking for a crowd you gotta switch into Head Coach mode!

            Thanks yall HawkerXP The ribs and butts will be on my Lang 36". Gonna smoke the butts up to the stall then wrap em and move em to the oven, then swap in the racks. It would all fit if I had one of those racks to set the ribs up on their side but I've never used one of those and the stakes are a little too high to get to experimenting right now.

            The burgers are definitely going on the Kettle with the SnS and GrillGrates, my new favorite wombo-combo!

            Agree, pics are certainly in order!
