    Getting ready for the big cookout...

    Finally made it home after 3 weeks on the road. The first we did was went to Sam's club and bought a case of BB ribs and a case of pork butts for the 4th of July cookout Saturday. I also will be doing 3 Prime briskets that I pick up at Costco's about 2 months ago. I had to get some beverages to chase it down with. Click image for larger version

      Wish you could too Nate and that is just my share of beverages there will be a lot more than that from the guest. Last year we had 6 large coolers loaded down with beer, water, soda and more beer,

        Looks like we're gonna need more booze! That water don't need to be refrigerated and is taking up too much space. DWCowles maybe add a vegetable? Like a loin chop as you will need snacks that are ready earlier. 😀🤔🤔

          The best part of this cookout will be firing up five different cookers. (1) Lang. (2) RecTec. (3) Kamado Joe Big Joe. (4) WSM. (5) PBC. Sorry, but the kettles will be taking a break this go around.

                Got the briskets and the butts trim and dry brining. The ribs will get their turn tonight.
