anyone ever try a reverse sear with a heat gun. they can put out some serous heat upwards of 900/1000 degrees plus of hot wind was just noodling the idea have never tired it myself and figured I would throw it up in the air and see what you guys thought for fun.

Try it out. I have seared steaks with a torch on a few occasions. I think you get better flavor from the fire sear but the torch works well too. Give it a try and let us know how it goes. Pictures with details make it even better.

I see no reason why it wouldn't work great. Maybe even better than the grill since you can get the edges more easily.

I love cooking with wine. Sometimes I put it in my food.
One cannot have too many grills.
I did Creme Brûlée once because my torch ran out of gas. I had like 8 guests over. It worked beautifully. My only concern was the quality of air coming off of the heat element.....Well let me just say there was wine involved...
