    Snow Day Cook

    After about 6" of snow it was time to cook some ribs...Full spare ribs that I trimmed to St. Louis style, saving the rib tips for another day...

    Dry brined then coated in yellow mustard and MMD...

    First cook with the slow n sear I got for Christmas, also first cook in below freezing temps...

      Still learning the "art" of cooking on the kettle...temps are fluctuating a lot, having to adjust the vents constantly...just trying to keep it between 225 and 250ish...

      I love doing cooks on those sunny, snow days. Fire and Ice. always a fun combo. Good looking cook.

          Its 9 degrees here in Medina, Ohio today. I have a big green egg that can smoke at any temperature. But while it may work fine at 9 degrees, I do not.
