This is very interesting...the microwave is the only way I reheat BBQ, but I never thought about gently steaming it; great idea! There are Steam Microwaves available in the USA via Amazon...they just ship them from overseas - here is one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...ag=amazi0a8-20

Unfortunately I don't have room for another appliance in my kitchen. As some mentioned below, I too use vaccu-sealing as the best protection against drying out, especially for larger quantities like electric roaster pans full. The advent on crock pot and large roaster liners that you can seal/tie up during re-heating helps immensely. In doing say 40 or so lbs of pulled pork, I'll put about an inch of water in the roaster pan and then the liner into which I'll put leftover cooking goo and/or butter in one roaster with the pork, then close the liner and reheat. In the second roaster I'll do the same less goo/butter and put the vaccu-sealed bags into the lined roaster un-opened until the other roaster is empty.
