    Bustin a gut to tell ya

    I do not know where to post this but I'm peeing my pants to share this info. with you folks. I purchased the book "The Science of Great Barbecue and Grilling" and read it for 6 hrs. I then bought one for my son. I have read it for 3 days. It is SO understandable, informative and in a concise sometimes humerous format. Excellent Job! All of those, "I wonder why" questions are answered. I now need to buy one for my neighbor as I won't lend him my copy. What a truly understandable wealth of information.

            Huskee..Thought I had done my homework, but it's the dog's fault. That darn dog grabbed it, spread some cheap BBQ sauce on it from Aldi's, threw it on the Webber.. and ate it. Thanks to all for making folks feel welcome and for sharing info. So much information, so little time. Oh, I bought yet another book - for my nagging neighbor!

              Hey wait a minute here Fergie, you read the book, then read it again, then bought one for kin, & now you want to have your neighbor read the book.                   Where's Oprah? Her book club sells lots of books. Someone needs to send a book to her private Chef. I forgot she might be on a diet and BBQ is not allowed.🙀

                        Most importantly: Thank you all for making me feel welcome and for freely sharing info. on how to make food better. You folks are the best! My First smoking: I cooked butternut squash, added brown sugar, butter, milk and mashed to correct consistancy. I put it into a metal pan and tossed it in the smoker with apple wood and a chicken I was smoking. I smoked the squash the last 30 min. of cooking time. OMG! Squash was lightly smoked, could taste nutty flavor of the squash with hint of smoke, wet brined chicken turned out great. The meal was good enough to make you hit your mother! Thank you all for your help. Next: Slow hickory smoked 1969 converse high top canvas sneaker!
