My step grandfather used to.put two raw eggs in a glass and drink it every morning. On a side note he would cut up cigars and smoke them in his pipe. He lived to 97. Just trying to help if you want to enjoy a long happy life.

The eggs probably came from his own chickens, not some mega egg producing facility.

He probably didn't make his own cigars though.

Both my granddads were pipe smokers. One of them died at 70 and the other at 81. My dad quit smoking in his 40’s. When mom died he started he started drinking himself to sleep every night with Canadian mist whisky and grape juice. He lived to be 91. I attribute it to the grape juice.

Bummer to hear this, but glad we get our eggs from a local farmer. Course, they get thoroughly cooked before they’re ingested.

People need egg timers or stop eating the wrong raw cookie dough.

Jerod Broussard I totally get the raw cookie dough thing, though. Growing up it was tough to keep the spoon out of the bowl when mom's back was turned...

Wow, you used a spoon? Much more civilized than my sibs and me. That’s what fingers are for.

So who ain't cooking the eggs??

I figure every animal product that comes to my house, whether I killed it and processed it myself or not, might have something on/in it that might get me sick if I don't cook it.

I do, at times, make my own mayonnaise, which requires a raw egg, but I'll use pasteurized eggs for that particular recipe!
