I did and it was pretty tasty. He made it with homemade strawberry ice cream and took creative license and used a hazelnut praliin (not a typo, per my guy). Super rich! Two bites and that was all she wrote, then I got to go back to doing dishes. 😞

The only difference was that the bombe 5th Avenue was also served with assorted cakes. Named after the fact that Delmonicos was on 5th Avenue.
