    Linoleic acid

Just saw this on facebook. I have not checked the accuracy. I'm not sure what the post is stating. The amount of linoleic acid burnt off while frying? It seems that this type of acid is good for you

Don't know much about palm oil.
Olive oil & Avacado oil are good for you on their natural state. You have to be careful with them if you are heating them. Oxidation can ruin their benefits and taste.
Lard and everything below on the list is great
      cookin oils, edible & healthy.
Everything in red is good tank lube & good for your engines. Toxic would be the word. One of the key ingredients to obesity & many of the ailments plaguing the good ol' USA.

Thank you Fireman. Seed oils are cheap, plentiful, and poisonous. Remember how good french fries tasted when they were cooked in tallow?

I hear at least one chain is considering going back to it. I imagine they will raise the price, unfortunately.

Starsky The chart is telling you the percentage of listed oils that is linoleic acid. E.g., the chart says that 70% of safflower oil is linoleic acid. Linoleic acid is one of two fatty acids (linolenic being the other) that are required by your body on a daily basis for good health.

I wonder what we did for good health before we used industrial seed oils and 1000’s of supplements? Maybe we just ate good nutritious food. A.k.a. not processed.

I am a migraine sufferer, eating process foods or sugar will eventually trigger a migraine. When I avoid sugar, colorings, preservatives, and starches, I mitigate the migraines. I also dropped 40lbs without trying. Coincidence?

And maybe we died earlier on average because of a lack of essential dietary needs in our diets. I agree that a lot of the processed food we consume is unhealthy. But getting a 100% healthy diet is a major struggle that most folks can't overcome or don't really care about. So, processed food is found in just about everybody's diet. I wish you well, Johnny Booth, on your journey to good, long-lasting health. 😊
