Purchased 4 dozen ears of corn from our favorite local vendor , will cut off cob , vac seal and freeze for a glimpse of summer on those bitter winter days….pulled pork with mmd on the Weber Smokey with some mesquite and hickory and red rice/beans for a side ….several cold beers and a couple sips of buffalo trace = a fine Saturday afternoon for an Indiana boy !

Nothin like Indiana corn. Wisconsin is almost there.
Had a friend buy some some 3 weeks ago. He asked the lady why they call it Indiana corn. She told him. Then I looked at my friend and told him, taint no corn comin in the 3rd week of July in Wisconsin. He looked at me a little bewildered and said, "Oh". He has only lived here for two years.
Yup, they call it Indiana corn ..........cuz it was grown in Indiana!
