    New Taste Sensation!

    New (to me) taste sensation! For Father’s Day I decided on steak and snow crab legs. My wife is not a big red meat eater, so I thought she would enjoy them. Well I had some ribeye on the cutting board, and I cracked a crab leg over it. Some of the juice dripped onto the steak, and thought “damn, ruined my steak!” Not so! The sweet and salty seafood taste of the crab leg with the rich, beefy, buttery ribeye was amazing! I couldn’t get enough of it.

        Rare filet w/dollop of crab on top is a delicacy in these parts. Nearest water is The Ohio River. Do not eat anything you pull outta there.

          My wife used to make Steak Neptune once in a while, which would be steak topped with asparagus and crabmeat and a hollandaise or perhaps bernase sauce. ( https://www.crownverity.com/blog/steak-neptune ). Very good.

            How could it be anything other than wonderful? I feel so sad for people who are allergic to shellfish. I would die without them.
