That seems to require some substantial hand dexterity to make it work effectively. Amanda uses the garlic tube peelers and seems happy.

Looks like a cheap set of repurposed fish bone tweezers. If that's all they are, Amazon has quite a few (sold as actual "fish bone tweezers") that look like they could be quite a bit higher quality ... and for only a few bucks more.

I agree MBMorgan they look very similar to my fish tweezers. I'll give them a try next time I need to peel garlic, however I usually just crush with my kitchen knife and the peel comes right off.

I am not a fan of unitaskers. Put the cloves on a board and bang them with the flat side of a cleaver. Done.
