Do your Ball lids have a raised dimple when they are new?

I wish somebody would answer this question because it seems strange that I have purchased lids from Kroger and Walmart with and without this raised dimple.

Also, when my jars of tomatoes aren't bubbling, they never seal.
I have mainly canned half pint jars simply because this is the right size for adding to soups.

When I say raised dimple, I mean that there is give in the lid if it has not created a vacuum and sucked it down. That is how I do a spot check to see which ones may not seal properly. After they cool down I take the rings off and then try to pry the lid off to make sure that it is properly sealed. It's just how I do it. Then main thing is that I don't fill my 22qt Presto too full or not full enough.

Update: I rechecked my new lids and they all have that little dimple.

When I say "raised dimple", I mean a dimple that is intentionally put there when they stamp the lid.
This dimple collapses when the jar seals.

Oh well, who knows?
Maybe these are knock-off's, maybe they aren't.

None of mine have raised dimples. Just if the lid isn't sealed there is some give which tells me it isn't finished.

I saw a picture yesterday of lids that said "Sure Tight" and they had the raised dimple but they were Kerr brand, not Ball.

I received my new Superb brand lids yesterday and did some test canning.
Every lid sealed.
