I’d start with a small camel first. When I first cooked a medium size camel, I could barely get it through the door. Also don’t believe the hype, farm raised camel is just as good as wild caught.Last edited by Panhead John; August 30, 2023, 11:21 AM.

I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.

Dromedary or Bactrian?!? I HATE it when people are not specific when writing recipes. Like you can just go around cooking ALL camels the same way.
Also, this recipe doesn't mention it, but there are people who will walk thousands of miles not to boil, but to SMOKE Camels. My paternal grandfather was a regular practitioner of smoking Camels.
He claimed it wasn't the tobacco that killed people, it was the cigarette filters. So he smoked non-filtered Camels from age 9 to 74. He died at 74 from kidney failure.
