    Smoking Pan

    The lovely wife made delicious chicken kabobs in the oven and it smoked and set off the fire alarm. She did not use any oil but just chicken, tomato, onion and perhaps some seasonings. Oven was probably 400-450. What would be creating the smoke if there is no olive oil? Would there be olive oil residue left on the sheet pan even after a good scrubbing?

    I do know EVOO would smoke above 350 but I feel like we crossed that off.

      Turn it on without anything in it and see if it smokes.
