So far I have 2 chest freezers, one at each home. Each house also has 2 refrigerators, with freezer space. We've talked about getting a second chest freezer for the house we actually own. Nobody has offered me free freezer space yet. Most of my friends are farmers, they don't have restaurants. I can get the meat, I just have to find places to put it.

We have the house freezer as part of refrigerator, then we have refrigerator ‘freezer set up in garage, plus a chest freezer there, then around back we have a 4 foot wide commercial stainless work top refrigerator, a small upright freezer.
I would like to put in one more refrigerator and chest freezer, inside, although I would take 2 more chest freezers. It’s just a never ending thing, isn’t it?! 😜Last edited by Richard Chrz; August 10, 2023, 04:13 PM.

Glad you now have a ton of extra space! We just moved into a house for the first time after living in apartments. Our friends who sold us our house in the most amazing way when they retired and downsized left us a freezer in the basement. Still slowly filling it up. I fear the day it reaches capacity!
Being on the south side of Chicago, we have multiple packing places that sell to the public at about the same price as to restaurants. Maybe buying in bulk at the discount is finally a good idea for me!Comment
