The headline fonts have gotten larger so you know what that means: there is a freakin' tie now between seafood and tacos. Apparently, barelfly has pulled out the stops and is waging an all-or-nothing war against the seafood supporters in his attempt at a major culinary upset. Sources tell ARN that seafood has a secret weapon being held in reserve just for such an occasion. If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
As our illustrious Pitmaster jfmorris reported, in the role of a citizen reporter, Tacos have indeed overtaken Seafood as the preferred smackdown food in a poll that will close in a little less than 18 hours. Tacos are up by one vote so it's still a toss-up.

While I fell short of my goal of getting 100 total votes, huge kudos go to barelfly, who, by sheer force of will, brought tacos across the finish line by 2 votes ahead of seafood in true Tortoise and Hair fashion. "It's not how you start, it's how you finish", said the tortilla to the scallop.
